Vfx Production Assistant

Systematizing project information, budgeting, and evaluating time requirements while tracking progress and deadlines. Contributed to European coproductions of animated movies and series, successfully securing three grants in the past year through applications for Croatian and European funds.

Animation Production Assistant

In my role for 'Cricket and Antoinette,' the first Croatian 3D animated feature ever, I managed the tracking of each shot’s completion status and production phase. I supervised the progress of animation along with the lighting, rendering, and compositing stages to ensure project timelines were met. I seamlessly integrated new shots into the edit to monitor the film’s overall progression and prepared all shots for the compositing phase. Additionally, I maintained detailed records of progress updates from supervisory meetings and ensured effective communication across all teams involved in the film production process.

I have a diverse background in producing and writing short films, contributing to both student and commercial projects. Short films have sparked my creative flair, while commercial work has taught me the art of balancing client input with artistic vision.

Currently: Directing, producing, and writing the short animated movie "Šiške" (Bangs).
2024: Worked as a production assistant on music videos for Croatian pop stars Maja Šuput, Nika Turković, and Nela Đinđić, coordinating production aspects.
2023: Directed, written, and produced the short documentary "Vatroslav, My Audio-Loving Uncle."
2023: Assistant Editor for the HRT documentary series “Dipomatska Oluja” (Diplomatic Strom).
2022: Written and produced the short horror film "Grindstone."
2021: Created a video for the student association CroMSIC for the campaign "KOŽA PAMTI SVE" (The Skin Remembers Everything).
2021: Produced, directed, and animated a stop-motion commercial for Algebra University.
